The Bishop of the Arlington Diocese, Michael Burbidge, has asked the voters of Virginia to VOTE NO on the proposed Amendments 1 and 2 to the Virginia Constitution. The first would make abortion without any limits or safeguards a part of Virginia’s Constitution – irrevocable. Call it ‘the Lindsey Clancy’ Amendment. The second goes beyond marriage to include potentially creating a fundamental right to ‘transition’ minors.’ The Prince William County Republican Committee joins Bishop Burbidge and other faith, moral, and legal leaders in opposing these amendments.
