Help Ensure Election Integrity

Sign up today to serve! Help ensure fair and transparent elections in Prince William County by serving as an Officer of Election or as a Poll Watcher during Early Voting or on Election Day.

Officer of Elections

Virginia law calls for equal representation from each major party among Officers of Election at every polling place, so we need committed Republicans to serve.

How to apply:

STEP 1 – Apply with Prince William County:
Submit the Officer of Election application at https://www.pwcvotes.org/electionofficer

STEP 2 – Tell PWCGOP you applied:
Email electionintegrity@pwcgop.gop with your name, phone number, and address so we can recommend you as a Republican Officer of Election.

Officers of Election are appointed by the Electoral Board, trained and assigned by the Office of Elections and receive a stipend from the County.

Poll Watchers (AUthorized Representatives)

If you cannot work a full day as an Officer of Election, you can still help by volunteering as a Poll Watcher at an Early Voting site or on Election Day. Poll Watchers observe the voting process and report issues to the Chief Election Officer; unresolved issues are reported to the GOP hotline.

Please sign up for the required poll watcher training (1-2 hours online) using the registration links below. Among the Virginia Fair Elections sessions offered, Election Officer/Poll Watcher Training Part A & B is strongly recommended and will only be offered once more before April 21.
