Governor Youngkin Meets The Voters Of Prince William County – Talks Of Economic Progress, Parents Rights, And The Need For A Republican Senate

Governor Youngkin joined residents of Prince William for breakfast at the Jukebox Diner in Manassas on August 22. While talking to voters, he highlighted that due to his administration’s lower taxes and less regulation, Virginia has gone from 47th in job creation to 4th in the nation. Virginia now has a $4 billion surplus that the Governor want to use for education and the mental health crisis, while returning the rest to the taxpayers. Meanwhile, the Democrat controlled Senate blocks his plans while planning to spend all the surplus on their own pet projects. The Democrat Senate also opposes his efforts to ensure that parents, not the government, are in charge of their children. The Democrats have also stymied his plans to increase penalties for fentanyl trafficking. To accomplish his goals he needs everyone’s help to flip the Senate to the Republicans this November.

Governor Youngkin was joined by Prince William Republican officials and candidates, including County Supervisor and Republican candidate for County Board Chair, Jeanine Lawson, County Sheriff Glen Hill, Republican Candidate for 30th Virginia Senate District, Bill Woolf, School Board member Jennifer Wall, School Board Candidate Jaylen Custis, and Chairman of the Prince William County Republican Committee, Denny Daugherty.

Bill Woolf spoke about the dramatic local rise in violent crime, allowing parents to choose the education that is best for their children, and confronting the massive rise in electricity rates caused by uncontrolled data center proliferation in Prince William County.
