Prince William & Manassas Park Republicans,
Tuesday’s election results were deeply disappointing. Republicans suffered significant losses across Virginia and the country, and the results should serve as a wake-up call for our Party.
But while elections have consequences, defeat does not have to define our future.
First, I want to sincerely thank every candidate, volunteer, donor, poll watcher, and supporter who dedicated their time, energy, and resources to this election. Your efforts were not in vain, and our Committee is stronger because of your commitment.
As we look ahead, our attention must now turn to 2027, when several Republican elected officials here in Prince William County will be on the ballot. These are individuals who have worked hard to represent our communities, and they will need our support as they seek reelection.
The stakes in these local elections could not be higher. Decisions made by our local elected officials directly affect our schools, public safety, taxes, development, and quality of life. We cannot afford to become discouraged or disengaged.
The coming year presents an opportunity to regroup, strengthen our organization, engage with our neighbors, and prepare for the challenges ahead.
We have important races to fight, dedicated public servants to support, and a community worth fighting for.
Thank you again for everything you do for our Committee and our Republican candidates. I look forward to working alongside you as we prepare for 2027.
Regards,
Jacob Alderman,
Chairman, PWCRC/MP
